Viator, GetYourGuide and the transfer marketplaces do not own a single car in Tunisia. They resell local operators like us and add a commission of 20 to 30%. So the price on a marketplace is an operator’s price plus the platform’s cut, and booking direct removes exactly that layer — same car, same driver. It is not that we are cheap; it is that nobody is standing between you and the car. The figures below are real listings against our published prices, with the dates they were taken.
A listing on a big travel marketplace is written by a local supplier who has agreed to hand the platform a fifth to a third of every sale. Almost every supplier puts that on top of their price rather than absorbing it, which is why the same driver, the same car and the same day cost more through the platform than through the operator’s own site. We are the operator: a licensed agency in Hammamet with its own vehicles and its own drivers. Our prices are the ones the driver is actually paid from, published as a full grid of 1,392 fares and 34 tours, not a “from” teaser.
Three airport runs from Enfidha-Hammamet, where the holiday flights land, as listed on the transfer booking sites in September 2026, against our fare for a saloon on the same run today. The saving is measured against the cheapest listing we found, not the dearest.

Read it honestly: the gap is narrowest on the short hop to Hammamet, where there is less fare to take a cut from, and it opens with distance, where the platform’s percentage becomes real money. On the short run from Tunis-Carthage into the city the marketplaces are about the same price as we are, which is why that row is not here.
On tours the gap is wider, and it hides in the unit. Marketplaces price a private tour per person; a car costs the same for a day whoever sits in it, so we price it per vehicle. Sampled in September 2026 for the same private day around the Tunis sites — Carthage, the Bardo, Sidi Bou Saïd, the medina: a coach seat at €39 per person, the cheapest marketplace private listing at “from €50 per person” (which became €92 per person once two travellers were entered), and another at €204 for a group of up to three. Our car for that day is €83, for up to 4 people.

One person: take the coach, it is cheaper and we say so. Two people: the car costs a few euro more than two coach seats and less than the marketplace’s cheapest private price — and it is your car, leaving when you say. From three, the private car is cheaper than the coach and around half the marketplace price, which is the same car with a commission on top.
A low number is only worth something if it is the number you pay. Ours is: every fare and every tour is published, the same figure in August as in February because there is no seasonal pricing, and the price covers the vehicle, the driver, fuel, tolls, parking and hotel pick-up. There is no deposit, you pay the driver on the day, and cancellation is free up to 24 hours before. A marketplace price moves with the date and the party size and is always shown at its cheapest; ours does not move once you have it in writing.
Three cases, so that the rest of this page can be believed. A solo traveller pays less for a coach seat than for a private car on any day trip, full stop. On the shortest airport runs the marketplace price is about the same as ours, because there is no margin in a €20 fare for anyone to add to. And a taxi hailed at the rank can be cheaper still if you negotiate well and accept that the price, the car and the driver are decided at the kerb. What we sell is the fixed price and the car that is yours for the day; where that is not what you need, the cheaper option is the right one.
