The ship’s coach is the safe option and it is priced per person, so it works out cheaper for one or two. From about four people a private car costs less and behaves better: you leave when you like, stand where you like, and skip the shopping stop.

La Goulette (Halq al-Wadi), the port of Tunis, about 12 km from the city centre. It is the only cruise terminal serving Tunis, so if your itinerary says Tunis, Carthage or Sidi Bou Saïd, this is where you dock.
Yes. Port regulations allow only licensed guides inside the terminal area, so with the guide option you are met at the terminal exit; with a driver only, he waits with your name on a board in front of Restaurant La Victoire, about 200 m outside the port gate. Either way there is nothing to find and no shuttle to catch.
That is the whole design of the day, and it is guaranteed in writing. You give us your all-aboard time when you book; it is printed on your confirmation and your voucher, and we return you to the quay at least 60 minutes before it. Carthage and Sidi Bou Saïd are both within half an hour of the port, so the margin is real — and if you ever missed your ship because of us, we would take you to your next port of call at our expense.
We track the arrival and wait. The price does not change, and the itinerary is shortened from the end rather than rushed — we would rather drop the medina than have you running for the gangway.
